Round Rock Express To Host All-Star Game

The Round Rock Express made a huge announcement Thursday!

The Minor league team will host the 2021 Triple-A  All-Star game at the Dell Diamond. This is the first time Round Rock will host an All-Star game of this level, back in 2001 the team hosted the Double-A All-Star game when they were a member of the Texas League.

There is not an exact date for the 34th all-star game quite yet, but it will be in July 2021. With the whole week expected to have activities, such as the home run derby. A ticket announcement will be made soon, according to the Express. Season ticket holders will get the first opportunity to secure seats.

Craig Morgan, the Mayor of Round Rock, not the country and western singer, claimed that Round Rock is the "sports capital of Texas". I didn't know that and I won't disagree. He expressed his excitement and honor for the city to host such a big event.
