Screen Actors Guild Award Winners

Another awards show last night. Did you watch the Screen Actors Guild Awards?  Thank Goodness for DVR, You can read who won and what happened and then go back and watch if you want,  if not, hit that erase button.    I did watch some.  What is up with that SAG Statue?  I’m not gonna hold it…You hold it!

Who votes? Members of the Screen Actors Guild Union, thousands of them, as long as their dues are paid up.  They select from nominees which are chosen by a few thousand randomly selected members.

It’s a pretty bare bones affair.  Pick a category, list the nominees then announce the winner.   Goes by fast, not many Fakey Jokey moments  between awards, it seemed pretty businesslike. Makes it go faster, right.  But it was kind of sterile.  Oh and the Jennifer Lawrence dress fail.  Not really here’s an explanation.
