Suspect Sought in Theft of Donation Jar
Copperas Cove Police are seeking information on a suspect tied to the theft of a donation jar meant to assist a grieving family with funeral costs.
Police are on the lookout for Timothy Sedric Martin Blackwell after he and two other suspects stole the collection jar from the Fast Time Fina at 502 N 1st Street in Copperas Cove on November 19. The jar was full of cash meant to aid the family of a 34 year old Copperas Cove resident who’d recently passed away.
During an investigation of the theft, police identified Blackwell and Mitchell Alan Martin, along with a suspect who has not yet been publicly identified. Martin was arrested on December 12, but Blackwell is still at large. A warrant for the third suspect is pending.
