Have you ever been watching a film or TV show and suddenly realized that a place looks awfully familiar? You might've even visited that place in real life. It's a surreal moment when you see a location you've been to on the silver screen.

It's an understatement to say Texas is a big place, and with such a diverse landscape and a few sizable and iconic cities, it just makes sense that plenty of movies and TV shows have been shot here. (Texas-shot movies have a habit of winning Oscars, too.)

For one building in Texas, the odds have certainly been in their favor when it comes to appearing in memorable scenes. Think it's the Alamo? You'd be wrong!

The One Place In Texas That Has Appeared In Film The Most

Oddly enough, the answer to our question comes from Hawaii.

Brittany Mendez with Hawaiian Islands did some data sleuthing and put together a handy list of the most filmed locations in all 50 states.

According to Menendez's research, the NASA Johnson Space Center located in Houston has shown itself on the silver screen the most.

When you think about it, that makes total sense. Just think about how many legendary space exploration films have featured iconic scenes at the Space Center. Apollo 13 comes to mind, right?

Now the real question is, when will our radio station be the scene for a movie? We might have to write a script and make a movie ourselves!
