ALERT: Texas Most Wanted Murder Now Featured Fugitive Of August
The Texas Most Wanted changes when an individual is located. The hard working men and women of the Texas police work tirelessly to keep up safe and sound. However, some individuals have eluded custody for too long, and that is the case for one individual named Johnny Leon Wilson.
We've discussed Wilson in the past, but to summarize, the Texas Department of Public Safety states that he was first arrested in 2019 on the charge of murder. After being arrested and bonding out, an ankle monitor was placed on him to track his movements. Texas DPS states the monitor was either "damaged or removed."
In February of 2023, a warrant was issued for his arrest in regards to his murder charge. With no new leads as of the time of writing, Texas police have given Texans incentive to help locate him.
Wilson Is Now The Featured Fugitive Of August 2023
Information on Johnny's whereabouts scarce, Texas DPS has upped the reward for any leads that will help locate Wilson. If the tip you submit leads to the capture of Wilson, you could be eligible for a $4,000 cash reward.
But you may be wondering how does one submit a tip to Texas DPS? Well, there are multiple ways to do so. You can submit tips directly on the Texas DPS website, or by visiting their Facebook page. Texas DPS also has an app where tip submissions can be sent.
The ability to call in tips is also available. By calling Texas Crime Stoppers at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), you can help bring Wilson to justice. Let's help Texas Police out!
