Killeen has been named the Most Patriotic City in Texas for the second year in a row.

Insurify analyzed its database of over 1.6 million people who applied for auto insurance through their platform and was able to identify the city with the biggest share of military service in each of the 50 states.

With Fort Hood being one of the biggest army bases in the country, Killeen naturally took the top spot.

Killeen Mayor Jose Segarra said, “We are honored to receive this designation. Killeen has long maintained a strong relationship with Fort Hood and prides itself in the support it provides soldiers and their family members who live within our great city. This hard work and dedication to supporting our military is a hallmark of our community, and one that I only see getting stronger as we continue into the future.“

Snejina Zacharia, CEO of Insurify said, “Joining the military is one of the most profound ways that a citizen can demonstrate their love for our country. This award is a token of recognition for the communities whose residents offer both sacrifice and commitment in service of their nation.”
