Two Local Gas Stations Robbed Monday Night
News 10 is reporting that local police in Central Texas responded to two different robberies at convenience stores on Monday night.
Police first responded to a report that the Select Food Mart on East Elms Road was the first gas station hit that night. Officers on the scene provided little information about the details of the robbery.
Shortly after the initial robbery at the Select Food Mart on East Elms Road, a second gas station was robbed. The Texaco gas station off East Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Harker Heights was hit just minutes after the Select Food Mart.
KWTX is reporting that police provided no details on the suspects or what they were able to get away with. Police also did not say if the two robberies were linked at all.
