Waco, Texas was the scene of a hit and run fatality of a pedestrian that occurred sometime yesterday morning, and the local law enforcement teams have zero leads at this time as to the make and model of the vehicle that was driven, or who the suspect could possibly be.

Waco Police are so open to leads currently, they remind the public that tips made in an investigation, even if they are anonymous, can lead to big time rewards, and are already officering $2,000 for anybody that has information about this pedestrian hit and run fatality on Waco's east side.

Texas Police Now Need Your Help Locating Hit And Run Suspect

According to this KCEN article, police arrived on the scene of the 2600 block of Marlin Highway on Monday morning just before 8 AM, and found a deceased body along the side of the road. Their investigation concluded the man, now identified as 45 year old Daniel Mansel, was a pedestrian that was hit by an unknown vehicle and police were never notified that an accident had happened.

Sadly, the man had already passed, and first responders were not able to even attempt life saving measures. One lane of the roadway remained closed for a long time to allow detectives the ability to conduct a thorough investigation.
