Feeling Thirsty? Beer Garden Open in Temple, Texas – Bubble Tea Coming Soon
Downtown Temple is getting better and better!
First we got a beer garden, and now a boba tea shop is coming soon.
FoxDog Cafe is a locally owned beer garden and coffee shop, offering a variety of craft beers, wine, and coffee. It is now open on Fridays from 4:30-10pm at 209 North 7th Street in Temple.
Cha Community Opening Soon in Temple
Bubble tea shop Cha Community is already in Waco, but CEO Devin Li is excited to bring a new location to downtown Temple, according to KCEN.
The company started out four years ago.
In that short time, Cha Community has progressed from a booth, to food truck, and now a brick and mortar location.
Business Openings Amid Pandemic Issues
Many smaller companies and businesses in Texas are expanding and seeing growth, despite a widespread lack of employees and COVID restrictions.
Although certain businesses have more openings than applicants, Li told KCEN that they have had no trouble finding talent.
Cha Community is still accepting applications, and you can get more info at their website, chacommunity.com.
What IS Bubble Tea?
'Boba' can refer to everything from iced tea with tapioca pearls, fresh juice loaded with fruity bits, or black tapioca pearls themselves.
According to eater.com, the drink basically consists of black tea, milk, ice, and chewy tapioca pearls, all shaken together like a martini and served with an extra-wide straw to accommodate the tapioca balls at the bottom of the cup.
When Does Cha Community Open?
Cha Community also has dumplings, noodles, and curry on their menu, in addition to a wide variety of boba drinks.
The Temple location of Cha Community should be opening by the end of February, according to the current schedule.
