Central Texas Man Stabbed at Hotel
News 10 is reporting that a stabbing Tuesday night at a Central Texas hotel has left one man injured.
Around 11 p.m. on Tuesday night in Bellmead, police responded to a report that someone had been stabbed at a Rodeway Inn.
Assis Papel, who was working the front desk at the Rodeway Inn, was the first person to notice the victim and call for police.
“He was walking around the hotel asking for help,” Papel said. “When he got to the front desk he asked me to call 911, so I did."
Papel also told police that the alleged suspect was able to get away in his pickup truck.
Authorities are saying the victim and the suspect were roommates and had been living in the same hotel room for about a month.
Police have not released any more information on the case.
