Temple, Texas authorities need your assistance to find a shooting suspect that allegedly shot a man right by Jaycee Park around 7:30 last night. When Temple Police Department responded to the call about 7:40 PM, they found a victim with a gunshot wound that had been transported via a friend to Baylor, Scott and White Hospital on South 31st Street.

According to this press release by the Temple Police Department, the victim thankfully had non life threatening injuries, and was able to provide some basic information about where he was when the shooting took place. He was on the 2400 block of West Avenue Z, which is where Jaycee Park is also located, and no description of the suspect was shared in the press release.

Since there is not a lot of information provided thus far to allow the average person in Central Texas, investigators might have to lean into the potential for video captured in the area to get a lead on the suspect's description, and what type of vehicle they may have been using.
