Does your little lady have spirit, Killeen, Texas? The AAU competitive cheer team, the Lady Vipers, are back and will be having cheer camp tryouts this year. This is perfect for building your child’s social skills, teaching team work, building confidence, and making new friends while staying active this summer. Your child will be able to try out Friday, June 3 from 5:30 to 8:30 and Sunday, June 5 from 9 to 12 at Cove Fitness.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE TRYOUTS?

Make sure when you come to the Cheer Camp Tryouts that your child is properly dressed in the dress code that is being issued for your little cheerleader which will be black shorts and tennis shoes. Water and shirts will be provided.

The age group will be between four years old all the way up to 14. The Lady Vipers are the state and national champions which is extremely impressive, so why not have your daughter get with the winning team? Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.
