King George is headlining a concert at the new Dickies Arena in Fort Worth! George Strait and Asleep at the Wheel will perform November 22, 2019, according to concert promoters. Tickets are priced from $19.82 all the way to $250. If you want to go to the concert you will have to be computer trigger happy at midnight, tickets go on sale on Friday, December 7, 2018, at ticketmaster.com. If you're thinking that the $19.82 price is odd, it's a reference to King Geroge's rare Fort Worth shows, which took place in 1982 at Billy Bob's Texas.

If you thought you missed out in 2014 when George Strait announced his retirement and you couldn't afford the tickets for his "Cowboy Rides Away" tour here is your chance to see King George! The best part is we get to see George Strait at the brand new Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.

Promoters for the new Dickies Arena in Fort Worth called it the “first concert announced” for the arena, we can only wonder what other shows the $540 million dollar arena will announce. The 14,000 seat arena is expected to be a huge draw for tourists. Cowtown's newest complex has already committed to hosting the 2022 NCAA men’s basketball preliminary rounds, and will also host the NCAA women’s gymnastics championships. Completion of the arena is scheduled for late 2019.
