Killeen Intersection Closed Due to Malfunctioning Traffic Light

Killeen police are warning drivers to avoid the intersection of East Veteran Memorial Blvd and South 28th St. as crews work to repair a traffic light.

KPD issued the following statement on social media Tuesday morning:

The traffic lights at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Blvd and 28th Street are out and are currently being worked on. The two lanes headed Eastbound have been closed and traffic is being diverted to the center lane.

Please use caution when approaching this intersection.
