Killeen Woman Arrested After Attacking Roommate With Knife
30-year-old Shataya Renea White of Killeen is being held in the Bell County Jail on $100,000 bond after police say she attacked her roommate with knives, then threw the weapons at police.
White's arrest came after police responded to a disturbance at a home in the 800 block of Pecan Circle around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. When officers arrived, White, who appeared to be intoxicated, was standing in the home holding a knife in each hand. When officers approached her, White allegedly began throwing the knives in their direction.
After subduing White, officers found another woman locked in a bathroom in the home. The woman claimed she and White had been arguing when White brandished the knives and chased her into the bathroom. According to the victim, White tried to stab her through the door.
White has been charged with second degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
