Man Injured in Early Morning Shooting in Temple
Temple police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured.
Temple Police Department spokesman Cody Weems reports that officers were dispatched to Blackland Road near South 5th Street early Friday morning.
A car at the scene had been shot several times, and a man inside the vehicle was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center with minor injuries.
Weems said no suspect had been identified and police were still investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
