News 10 is reporting that a Central Texas woman's baby shower ended abruptly on Sunday night after a man pulled a gun because the baby shower was taking too long.
Police responded to the report of a man with a gun at the 1800 block of McGinnis Court and arrested the man.
According to authorities, the woman and man originally agreed that the baby shower would end around 7 p.m. local time, however, once the shower ran past that time the demanded that everyone leave. The man then pulled a gun and put it between the woman's eyes.
“The male of the house stated everyone had to leave, and then grabbed a handgun, locked and loaded it, and pointed it at the female of the house head, placing the barrel against her head touching her skin between the eyes,” police said Monday.
The man remains in jail and police have not released his name yet.
