Man Sticks Up Killeen Store With Kitchen Knife

Killeen Police are searching for a man who robbed a Mickey's convenience store with a big kitchen knife early Wednesday morning.

Our news partner, KWTX, reported that officers arrived at the Mickey's on 3801 E. Stan Schleuter Loop in Killeen around 12:40 AM. The cashier of the store reported to the authorities that a man of African American descent came into the store with a hoodie on, as well as a mask. The man had a large kitchen knife in his possession, which he used to threatened the cashier to give him money out of the register.

The suspect took the money, then fled on foot. There has been no sight of the suspect, and the amount of money he stole is being kept under wraps for the time being. Authorities are planning to investigate surveillance video to help them ID the suspect.
