It just doesn't feel like the Christmas season until Nature in Lights opens at the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area. Well, consider the Holiday Season in swing, because they are officially open tonight, November 16!

As you can see in the flyer above, they'll be open from 5:30 PM to 11 PM now through January 6. They'll even be open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.

If you're new to the area or have never been to Nature in Lights, do yourself a favor and get out there ASAP!

It's five-and-a-half miles of fantastic drive-through light displays sponsored by Central Texas businesses (ourselves included) and charitable foundations.

About halfway through the tour, you can stop at Santa's Village to meet Kris Kringle himself. Tell the Big Man what you want for Christmas and get your photo with him, then look around at all the great booths. You can even grab food and hot cocoa while you're there.

There's also a rock climbing wall this year, so if the kids get loaded up on sugary treats they can burn all that energy off while you sit back and sip some coffee.

Prices are as follows:

Cars, Mini-Vans, Pickups: $15
15-Passenger Vans, Limos, and RVs: $30
24-Passenger Vans: $50
47-Passenger Vans and Buses: $75

Getting to BLORA isn't hard at all.
