Pavement Repairs Along US 190 in Copperas Cove Begin April 6

If you absolutely must be out driving next week for work or essential shopping, you'll need to be on the lookout for road repair crews if you're driving along US 190/I-14 just south of Copperas Cove.

TxDOT's Waco District announced Friday that they will be conducting pavement repair along the highway beginning at 8 AM Monday, April 6, weather permitting.

This routine maintenance, they say, will improve sections from the Business 190 split east of Copperas Cove to the intersection of I-14 and FM 3046 southwest of the city.

The work expected to last until Friday, April 10, and will be conducted between the hours of 8 AM and 7 PM. Various lane closures are expected, so be prepared if you're going to be driving in the area.

TxDOT is asking that drivers slow down in work zones, watch for workers, and obey warning and traffic signs.
