
Pflugerville HS Aide Charged with Child Grooming, Solicitation of Minor
Pflugerville, Texas - A former Pflugerville ISD administrative assistant is being charged with felonies related to the grooming and online solicitation of a minor high school student.
Pflugerville ISD Employee Arrested and Released on Bond for Felony Charges
On Friday, May 2nd, Marissa Juarez, 28, was arrested for child grooming and online solicitation of a minor. She was released on bond two days later on Sunday, May 4th. Both of the offenses are third-degree felonies.
Details of Alleged Online Solicitation and Inappropriate Contact Emerge
Juarez, who was working as an administrative assistant at the Pflugerville High School, is alleged to have used the social media app Snapchat to message the minor sexual fantasies. Juarez is also accused of allegedly using marijuana with the teenager as well as kissing the student. Police have reported that the inappropriate physical contact was captured on camera. The affidavit said that Juarez told the student that they couldn't kiss at the school anymore because she was afraid that they would get caught due to the cameras.

Pflugerville ISD Takes Immediate Action Following Allegations
Pflugerville ISD is reported to have placed Juarez on administrative leave immediately following their notification of the alleged offenses, and Pflugerville ISD has since terminated Juarez's employment with the school district.

Marissa Juarez was hired on as an administrative assistant in August of 2024. The alleged crimes were reported to have begun in 2024, and according to Texas Scorecard, a parent of the student was able to hand over more than 50 sexually explicit screenshots between Juarez and the student from Snapchat to the police.
