⚠️ Gruesome Find: Dead Rabbit Discovered in Hutto High Bathroom

On Monday, April 28th, school administrators at Hutto High School informed the parents of the students that a message, a drawing of a dead rabbit, and the severed head of a rabbit were placed in one of the boy's bathrooms. Principal Ryan Burns told the parents that the school staff was unfortunately not able to remove the items before some of the students saw them.

🔍 Investigation Underway, Suspect Identified by Hutto ISD Police

Principal Burns wrote in a letter that the campus security and the Hutto Independent School District police were working together to identify who carried out the heinous act. Burns later sent out an update informing everyone that the responsible party was identified and would face consequences befitting of the offense.

⚖️ Criminal Charges Filed in Hutto High Animal Cruelty Case

The school has already taken administrative action against the alleged offender, and they are also filing criminal charges in the hopes that local law enforcement can provide a harsher punishment. An offense of Animal Cruelty could be deemed a felony under Texas law.
