The Bell County Sheriff's Office and Nolanville police are investigating after shots were fired during the robbery of a Cefco store Tuesday night.

KWTX reports that police responded to a call about a woman in distress at the store at the corner of Main Street and South Central Expressway in Nolanville at 11:10 PM.

When they arrived, officers learned that an employee working at the store's Subway deli had been robbed. A co-worker told them the woman was pregnant, and an ambulance was called to ensure she was not injured.

Police say shots were fired, but no one was injured.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and say there are three suspects, but they did not offer further details.

A similar robbery occurred at a Belton convenience store Tuesday night. A shot was also fired during that crime.
