Welcome to Killeen! QuickTrip Opening Two Locations in the Spring

Killeen, Texas will soon have two new QuickTrip gas stations ready to open this spring.

According to the Killeen Daily Herald, construction is already underway for both new locations of QuikTrip in Killeen.

QuikTrip is more than just a place to fuel up. They are well know for their “QT Kitchen” as well. A spokeswoman of QuikTrip, Aisha Jefferson-Smith, tells KDH, “We’ll be serving your taste buds as well as your gas.” Open 24 hours with made fresh to order sandwiches, tacos, pizza, pretzels, milk shakes, and more will all be available at both new location.

Both new locations will be 4,900 square feet and offer everything you'll need and expect at a gas station/convenience store.

QuikTrip in Killeen

These will be the first locations for QuikTrip, not to be confused with Quick Stop, Kwick Corner, Quick Shop N Go, Quicks Food Mart, Quick Pick Food Mart and Wayne's Kwik Stop, in Bell County. The intersection of Central Texas Expressway and Stan Schlueter Loop, next to Texas Roadhouse, will be home to one of the new QuikTrips, as will the intersection of Clear Creek Road and Watercrest Road.

When Does QuikTrip Open in Killeen?

There are no planned grand openings for either new location but with both being in high traffic areas, it won't be hard to tell when they do open for business.

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.
