A man was recently arrested in the disappearance of Jim Craig Martin, who has been missing since 2007.

According to a report from our news partners at KWTX, Hollis Willingham, 44, of Hearne, is believed to be responsible for the death and disappearance of Jim Craig Martin.

Back in August of 2007, Jim Craig Martin mysteriously went missing. The case was originally reported to the Normangee Police Department. After authorities spoke and interviewed numerous people, it was assumed that Martin was killed, and his body possibly disposed of in rural area of Leon, Madison or Brazos County.

Officials an excruciating 11 years, the reward for information of the disappearance of Jim Craig Marin was temporarily raised. Just two years later, the case was presented to a Leon County Grand Jury and an indictment was returned on 07/22/2020.

Authorities have arrested Hollis Willingham, and he has since been charged with the murder of Jim Craig Martin.

Big thumbs up to the authorities and officials who did not give up on finding justice for Martin. I hope that his family can find peace with the suspect now behind bars.
