
Temple Now Tops Georgetown For The Best Places To Live In Texas
Temple, Texas has been my family's home for almost 2 and a half years, and God willing it will remain our home until our baby finishes 12th grade hopefully some time by 2040. She is only 3 right now, so we look forward to being locked into the community at least another 15 years, and we are very excited to see the type of city Temple is, and opportunities it continues to bring that will make it an ideal spot for all three of our children to next raise their families.

Texas is full of great little cities like Temple that have around 100,000 residents, and many of the towns on the list of the best places to live in the Lone Star State are often times much smaller than that, or at the very least maintain that wonderful small town charm that makes places like Texas so attractive to move.
Why Temple, Texas is a Top Destination for Families And Futures
Another Central Texas city that is very high on the list is Round Rock. I honestly kind of consider RR a twin city to Temple because of their similar size, and they have some fantastic regional characteristics that make them very attractive to neighboring towns to visit. I was very surprised to see Georgetown finish in the bottom of all the Central Texas cities to make the list of the Best Places to Live in Texas as ranked by U.S. News & World Report.
