Temple PD Needs Help Identifying These Walmart Thieves
The Temple Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two people accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart.
According to a press release from the City of Temple, two black males walked out of the Walmart at 3401 S. 31st street with $500 worth of video games. The two suspects left the store in a blue 2006 Nissan Maxima.
The funniest thing about this case to me is the fact that they used a Spectrum bag to place the games in. Many people are probably familiar with this bag, because it's the same one Spectrum gives out when they set up your cable, internet, or phone services. They can pay their cable bill, but can't be bothered to pay for their games?
If you've ever bought a video game that was just released, you know that they typically go for about $60, while older games can go for about $20-$40. Based on my horrible math skills, I would estimate that they stole anywhere from 8 to 25 video games.
Contact the Temple Police Department by calling 254-298-5500 if you think you can identify these bold individuals. Information can also be sent to Bell County Crime Stoppers at bellcountycrimestoppers.com, through the P3tips App, or by calling 254-526-TIPS (8477).
