Temple police seized over 46 grams of methamphetamines while executing a narcotics search warrant Thursday morning.

Officers with the department's Special Investigations Unit and a SWAT team carried out the warrant around 6:20 a.m. at a home in the 900 block of South 23rd St. There, they arrested 22-year-old Devon Juergens for five active warrants from the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles, as well as a warrant from the Bell County Sheriff's Department. He was taken to the Bell County Jail.

53-year-old Russell Parrish and 43-year-old Janet Tomme were also detained at the scene. Their cases were reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney's Office on Friday, which returned charges of possession of a controlled substance over 4 ounces with intention to distribute. They were taken to the Bell County Jail, where they await arraignment.
