Time to Cool Down! Temple, Texas Announces Water Park & Pool Openings
Summer doesn't officially start for several more weeks, but here in Central Texas, the Summer heat has already arrived. If you're looking for ways to cool down, you're in luck because the City of Temple, Texas has announced the opening dates for their water park and swimming pools.

The wait is almost over. According to a City of Temple news release, Lions Junction Family Water Park and the city's outdoor swimming pools are set to open in the next couple of weeks.
The good news is that the city's splash pads at Ferguson Park, Jaycee Park, Miller Park and West Temple Park are now open through Sunday, October 2.
Lions Junction Family Water Park
Lions Junction Family Water Park will open Saturday, May 28 through Monday, May 30. The park will close Tuesday, May 31 through Friday, June 3 before reopening for the summer season on Saturday, June 4 through Monday, September 5.
The park will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 12p to 8p and Sundays from 12p to 6p June 3 through August 14. Staring August 20, the operating days will adjust to weekends only.

Temple Swimming Pools
Clark Pool, Walker Pool and the Summit Recreation Center outdoor pool will open Saturday, June 4 through Sunday, August 14. The aquatics staff will offer swim lessons this summer.
