Truck Crash Causes Southbound I-35 Shutdown in Belton

Southbound I-35 was at a standstill in Belton Tuesday night as crews worked to clear the scene of a single-truck crash.

Belton police reported that the crash occurred at exit 290. Traffic was being diverted off the highway at Shanklin.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Just look at the condition of that truck though. Yeesh.

There'd been no word on the cause of the crash as of Tuesday night.

Police recommended finding an alternative route or prepare to hang out in traffic for a long while. Whatever you do, don't rubberneck and cause another crash. Just take it easy out there and stay tuned to your favorite radio station.
