If you had our partners at News 10 on your TV this morning as you got ready for work, you may have heard a familiar voice and thought, "Is that AZ from US 105?".

Well, it turns out you were right!

News 10's Rosemond Crown stopped by the Townsquare Media studios to interview our very own Aaron Zytle about this year's Stuff the Bus campaign.

It's our 8th year trying to stuff a school bus full of donated supplies to benefit kids in Killeen ISD, Belton ISD, and Temple ISD.

AZ's usually behind the mic in a safe, cozy studio, but he braved the TV news cameras for this good cause. I think he did great. What do you think? See the video below, then check out how you can help us Stuff the Bus!

Like AZ said, there are drop-off locations across Central Texas to make donating easy and convenient. Below you'll find a full list of those locations, plus you'll see school supply lists for Killeen ISD, Belton ISD, and Temple ISD. Those supply lists will give you an idea of what supplies our area kids will need to be prepared for the new school year.

The 2021-2022 academic year will bring with it some unique challenges for local kids, but one challenge no child in Central Texas should have to face is not having the supplies they need to be successful in the classroom.

Many families are still recovering from the economic impact of COVID-19 and the winter storm, while some children are between homes or in shelters due to family crisis situations. Let's make sure they at least have a backpack full of the basics to make school a place where they can learn, flourish, grow, and triumph.

Here's How You Can Help Us Stuff the Bus for Central Texas Kids

The new school year is just around the corner, and Central Texas students will face unique challenges as we put the pandemic behind us and look to the future.

One challenge no child should face is being without the essential school supplies they'll need to live up to their potential and achieve academic success.

That's where you and I come in. From July 19 to August 15, you can donate school supplies at the following locations. Donated supplies will benefit students in need in Belton ISD, Killeen ISD, and Temple ISD. (Click each district to view their 2021-2022 school supply lists.)

LOOK: Here are Some Great Places to Take Your Family Before the New School Year Starts

School starts in Central Texas in just a few weeks. There's still plenty of time for your family to get out and have some fun before this beautiful summer ends. Here are some ideas to spark your imagination and help you plan an epic Texas road trip.

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

Back on April 30, 2021, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now we know what will go in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
