Become a Firefighter with Temple Fire & Rescue

Becoming a firefighter is a noble calling, and if you've heard it, this is your opportunity to get started.

Temple Fire & Rescue will host a fire academy starting Monday, June 3, and there's still time to get signed up.

You can download an application here, or pick one up at either the Central Fire Station at 210 North 3rd Street or the Temple Fire Training Center at 7268 Airport Road. (You can also drop off applications at those two physical addresses.)

Academy sessions will be held from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday for four months, followed by two months of sessions to earn an EMT certification.
