Yelp has ranked ice cream shops in Texas based on total volume and ratings of reviews between January, 2021 and June 2022. Let's see where Central Texas falls on the list.

Top Ice Cream Spots in Killeen, Texas

According to Yelp, Rock and Roll Ice Cream at 4524 SW South Young Drive, Suite 105 is the top place in Killeen to eat ice cream, with 83 reviews and 4.5 stars out of 5.

The shop's made to order "absolutely fabulous banana split" was mentioned in 5 reviews on the Yelp site. 2 reviews stated that it was the only place they could find their favorite Blue Bell flavor, Banana Pudding.

However, no shops in Killeen, Texas made Yelp's top 25 list of spots across the state.

Best Ice Cream Shops in Temple, Texas

While reviews about Gogo's Treatery raved about the ice cream, people also gave high praise for the cupcakes as well. One reviewer was excited about the gluten-free cupcakes in particular. Gogo's Treatery is located at 2668 South 31st Street Suite B in Temple, and has 4.5 stars with 56 reviews on Yelp.

Sadly, no Temple stores made Yelp's 'Top Ice Cream Spots in Texas' list either.

Three Houston-area ice cream shops made the top 25 spots in Texas on Yelp's list, while Central Texas was represented with two in Austin. Manoli's Ice Cream, Pastries, & Cakes (#2), and Dolce Neve (#14) both made the top 20.
