What Is Causing The Rise In Prices For Food In Central Texas?
The fallout from the most recent restaurant report for Texas has left many in the state wonder how eateries all over will handle various facets of their business. Suffice to say, the concerns are shared by the eateries by themselves as well. With less customers coming in to eat out, it could cause some places to struggle.

Understandably, some eateries are concerned about the overall unknown future. Many owners are looking around trying to find ways to not only bring people into the door, but also make sure that profits don't suffer either. It's a tough task all together.

But how are restaurants in Central Texas handling it? How tough have things gotten?
Central Texas Restaurants Weathering The Unknown Storm
KXXV went out on the streets and discovered some places of business are looking what they can do to keep things good for both consumer and business. Located in Waco, George's Restaurant and Bar owner Kyle Citrano said the following to the news organization:
“You have to look everywhere, you pinch pennies where you can but for us it’s about customer service and trying to take care of our customers on a day to day basis.”
Meanwhile, the owner of Marie’s Wine Bar, Sidney Warren, said the following to KXXV:
“I have to be here more, there’s less hours on the weekly for employees. There’s situations where I can’t buy certain things that I would’ve normally bought because now I have to make those adjustments."
Time will tell if things will get easier for eateries in the Central Texas area.
