(Temple, Texas) - While driving around any town in Central Texas, there's always that one area or stretch of road that seems to always be under construction. The question we all ask ourselves is, "What in the world could possibly be coming, and why is it taking so long?"

We've known for a while that Dunkin' Donuts is opening its first ever location in here in Temple, but we weren't sure when we'd be able to try that famous coffee of theirs on our morning commute.

Well, now we know.

Dunkin' On West Adams Opening Date

While driving around Temple with a coworker, I had to stop to get some pics at the new Dunkin', which is pretty much complete.

So, when you can you try the goods?

They'll be officially opening for business this Wednesday, January 25.

That's according to an announcement from the folks at Dunkin' themselves.

While looking at the building and taking photos, we saw a little note on both drive-thru windows that confirmed the opening date.

West Adams Continues to Grow

Dunkin' isn't the only business on West Adams however. At the time of writing, there is a Mod Pizza that is currently being built with no known opening date, and there is another area being developed for construction behind the Arby's, Popeyes, and Dutch Bros.

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
