A suspicious circumstance call was placed by the children's father and he informed the Georgetown Police Department of the incident.
The children, ages 5 and 11, were riding their bikes in the 2000 block of Cliffbrake Way when the suspects pulled up and made contact. The suspects have been described as white males, possibly in the 30-40 year age range.
The driver of the Mini Cooper told the children that their mother had instructed him to pick the kids up for dinner at home. The children's father told Georgetown PD that his son asked the driver for the family safe word, to verify if the suspect was telling the truth.
The driver could not provide the family safe word, and the children immediately fled the area and returned home. Despite canvassing the neighborhood, the children's father could not locate the suspects or vehicle.
