Recognize Her? If So, Temple Police Could Use Your Help
Back in 2008, thieves broke into my car while I was moving and stole a laptop, my entire physical music and movie collection, and a bunch of other stuff of great sentimental value.
Needless to say, I take stories like this personally and want to help get the word out so a suspected thief can (hopefully) be tracked down.
The Temple Police Department has released surveillance stills of a woman they think may be involved in a string of recent vehicle burglaries.
According to Temple PD, they received four reports of car burglaries on May 4 from the 20th block of Old Waco Road and four more from the area of Lion's Park. Yeah, they broke into cars on Star Wars Day. Have they no respect? Bunch of Sith lords...
Anyway, TPD's released a few images they hope will lead them to a suspect caught on surveillance footage and two vehicles they think were used by the suspect. They also believe there could be more than one suspect.
You can see those images below. If you recognize this woman or her vehicle, or if you know anything about these break-ins that could help investigators with this case, you're asked to get in touch with Temple Police at (254) 298-5500 or Bell County Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-8477.
You can also reach out to Crime Stoppers at bellcountycrimestoppers.com or via the free P3Tips app. You don't have to give Crime Stoppers your name, and a tip leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
Take a look at the images below, then get in touch with police or Crime Stoppers if you think you can help. I'm sure the victims would appreciate it. I cringe when I think of all the memories I lost when my car was broken into.
