KCEN is reporting that detectives were told about the stolen property, got a warrant, and found even more stolen items at the area of 6th and Avenue F in Temple. One of the things discovered by police was a Bobcat skid-steer reported as stolen last week, according to a press release from the Temple Police Department.

All of the owners of the stolen property have been contacted.

Temple Meat Theft

Meanwhile, police are still looking for two women who were caught on video allegedly stealing $2,000 worth of meat from a Temple H-E-B.

While Temple police haven’t yet determined a specific motive for the crime, the rising price of food could be a factor. Many comments on various social media sites speculated that the women planned to make money by selling the meat elsewhere.
